Leather Coat Guy.

After 4 years, my trusty faux leather jacket from Target has finally shown signs of faltering (by signs, I mean it's falling apart) and I am having to come to terms with the fact that our relationship is over.  For such a cheap jacket, it has shown me some pretty good years and has also tricked numerous people into thinking it was the real thing (including my textiles teacher which actually makes her authority questionable but whatever). It has me thinking that maybe a combo of being a certain age, being in fashion school and knowing better, as well as being much more aware of the money I am spending and what I need to get out of it, it's time for me to invest in a real leather jacket.  Controversial!  Here are some that I have stumbled across that caught my attention...

Thoughts?  Do any of you have a staple leather jacket in your wardrobe?  Doesn't it automatically make you feel like a cooler person?!
