Shifting into Summer

A great staple for the summer months (and even the winter ones, throw on some black tights and call it a stylish day) is the classic shift dress.  Made very popular in the 1960s, the 'shift' represented a young, fashionable culture and has remained a feature in wardrobes ever since.

I am always envious of women who can wear a shift dress with flats, but at my height, throw on a pair of wedges and, voila, a perfect dressed-up or down outfit for the warm weather.  Check out some options in shops now:
