Good morning, afternoon and evening! As I start my last day in San Francisco (sad face), I thought I should start the day on the right note with breakfast from a lovely cafe on the corner with a slightly irritating 'pun' of a name. Morning Due Cafe makes up in delightful food and service what it loses in such an annoying name. (Don't get me wrong, I love a good pun name, look at the title of this blog...but 'morning due' really doesn't make a whole lot of sense.) Anyway, it doesn't matter, look at what I am eating:
Cajun eggs and potato fritata, complete with fruit, rye bread and roasted peppers. Also very good was the roasted beet and spinach salad I had from lunch there yesterday. So all in all, try it out if you're in the neighbourhood or are on the search for a casual and yummy meal in the Castro.
After checking out this post on my favourite blog Cupcakes and Cashmere, I am going to see if I can find my way down to the Ferry Building for a lovely market and maybe pop my head into some shops I have seen here and there. (Who am I kidding, if I see a shop I like, I will crash my head into it...Kate 'Retail Therapy' Neary)
